General¶
Squish supports most derivatives of Android OS in general.

Restrictions¶
There are specific restrictions for a few derivatives, which are listed below.
They result in Squish behaving not as intended.
Android/Google TV OS¶
Following restrictions apply for Android/Google TV OS tests:
- gestures are not supported/recognized during replay
- arrow keys are not supported during replay (necessary for navigation)
tapObject()can still be used for interaction - <Backspace> key is not recorded and makes text manipulation harder
- interaction with the virtual keyboard not possible, keyboard taps are forwarded to the main view
